Caesars Sportsbook Goes Live in the Empire State

Caesars sportsbook has accepted its first sports wagers in New York after receiving its full sports betting license from the New York State Gaming Commission.

Caesars Sportsbook Goes Live in the Empire State

New York joined the march towards mobile sports betting legalization last year with nine operators shortlisted as the probable gaming suppliers. The Commission last week approved licenses for four out the nine brands, one of which was Caesars Entertainment Inc.

Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital, speaking on the launch, said: "Today is a historic day for not only Caesars Sportsbook but for the entire state of New York.

"We're ready to treat sports fans across the state of New York like royalty through our Caesars Sportsbook app as we welcome them into the Caesars Empire, extend our already established roots and continue to build partnerships that benefit our bettors."

    Welcome Bonuses for New Yorkers

The sportsbook has wasted no time in stirring up bettors' interest. They came fully prepared with a well-designed welcome bonus of up to $3,000 + 300 in free bets. The bonus is available for all bettors of legal age who register newly at the site, and at the moment, the offer is valid till the 31st of December.

The Caesars Rewards loyalty program has also launched in the state alongside the app debut. The program allows bettors to earn Tier Credits and Reward Credits with every wager placed on the app. These points can be used to unlock experiences within its portfolio of properties and partnerships. For context, members can take advantage of hotel food and beverage, entertainment, and gaming opportunities at Caesars' destinations across the country. These include resorts in Las Vegas and bonus cash in the app, and numerous sports experiences. This rewards program is the only one of its kind in the state.

Also, to celebrate its launch, the Caesars Sportsbook app will provide NY punters additional odds boosts and special offers on their favorite local teams in action. Caesars enjoys partnerships with Madison Square Garden and MSG Networks. As such, bettors in the Empire State get VIP experiences with the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

    Caesars' Presence in the US

Caesars is the largest casino-entertainment company in the US and has been in operation since 1937. They are owners of popular resorts with the Caesars, Harrah's, Horseshoe, and Eldorado brand names. Caesars brags the largest number of physical outlets across the country, and their sportsbooks can be found in almost all the top gaming destinations. In New York, this includes hotspots such as New York's Yellow Brick Road, Turning Stone, and Point Place Casino through the Oneida Indian Nation.

Currently, branded sportsbooks by the operator are available in 21 US jurisdictions. The mobile app, in particular, is live in 15 states and provides one of the most dynamic experiences for users. Bettors can wager on numerous pre-match and live markets, player props, and same-game parlays. It also offers extensive odds and very flexible limits to cater to a wide range of punters.

Caesars Sportsbook has ongoing agreements with the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB while being the exclusive odds provider for ESPN and CBS Sports.
