Gaming Realms Launches Slingo Collection via Loto-Québec
Gaming Realms has launched its services in Québec via its partnership with the provincial iGaming operator, Loto-Québec. Like its US-facing arm, the gaming supplier will focus on its collection of Slingo Original games.

Games in the Line-up
Scheduled to go live first are Slingo Extreme and Blackjack Xchange. The UK-based developer also offers slots and mobile casino games, and the rest of the portfolio is expected to follow shortly.
Reportedly, several million Slingo scratch tickets are sold every year. Hence, the Slingo brand is already quite common in the Québec gambling market.
Gaming Realms will be launching the game variant, which combines slots and bingo gameplay, and will do so in conjunction with World Lottery Association member Light & Wonder. Formerly known as Scientific Games Corporation, this cross-platform iGaming company is already in partnership with Gaming Realms for the latter's North American operations.
Stéphane Martel, Loto-Québec Head of Products and Innovation, commented: "Gaming Realms' games are a great addition to our growing online casino game portfolio. Our players will enjoy this new offer."
Mark Segal, Gaming Realms CFO, expressed the company's delight at having gone live with Loto-Québec. He said, "2022 is set to be an exciting time for the Company as we move to establish a strong foothold in the Canadian market and work towards our longer-term plan of expanding further into the North American market."
From Ontario to Québec
This new launch is hot on the heels of being awarded an Ontario iGaming license. The license, which was directed at its subsidiary, Alchemybet, allows the company to supply games ahead of the official iGaming launch in Ontario on April 4th.
Acquiring the license earlier in March, the company joined the ranks of top gambling suppliers like 888 Holdings, PointsBet, Rivalry Corporation, theScore, who have also received permits from the AGCO.
Gaming Realms is preparing to launch its full games portfolio in Ontario, an area with approximately 15 million people. Ontario is a bigger market than any US state where the company already operates, including New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. As such, revenue figures are expected to be favorable. At the same time, there are those who fear that the launch of private online gambling operators in Ontario would be harmful to the economy.
Unlike Ontario, The state-owned Loto-Québec is the only regulated iGaming operator in the province. Québec is about half Ontario's size, with an estimated population of 8.5 million people. Nonetheless, it is also one of the largest gambling markets in Canada.
Québec was the first Canadian province to distribute games by Red Tiger, a subsidiary of Evolution Gaming. Loto-Québec had previously entered into an agreement with Evolution for a distribution deal of the developer's live casino games.
