MGM Resorts Upgrades its Loyalty Program
Premier entertainment company, MGM Resorts, has revised its loyalty program to offer improved experiences for patrons at all locations across the US. Previously called M Life, the upgraded loyalty program will now be called MGM Rewards and will be rolled out on February 1st, 2022. According to reports, this new program has been long in the making.

MGM Resorts VP of loyalty marketing Anil Mansukhani commented following the announcement: "MGM Rewards was developed as a direct result of customer feedback and now offers more ways to earn, more ways to redeem, and more exclusive benefits at MGM Resorts' 20+ destinations nationwide."
Mansukhani highlighted that the group boasts an unrivaled collection of resorts and amenities, and further went on to say, "As every guest experiences our properties in unique ways, MGM Rewards is designed to recognize and reward every member with experiences uniquely suited to their preferences, whether that's attending an incredible concert, enjoying a world-class meal, or staying in a luxury suite."
Improved Experiences for Every Member
The rebranded loyalty rewards program will merge the non-gaming and gaming MGM Rewards Points for the first time. The original five-tier scheme remains in place: Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum, and Noir. However, members will now have better opportunities to earn and redeem.
For starters, customers can redeem points at a range of on-site sectors, including entertainment, complimentary food and beverage, hospitality, and more. Anyone can benefit from rewards points as long as they play, stay or dine at any of the domestic MGM Resorts destinations. Customers who choose to play any slot games will also earn Slot Dollars (known as PointPlay in the M Life program).
New benefits of the MGM Rewards program include waived resort fees, Tier Achievement Travel Credit to Las Vegas, complimentary tickets to MGM Rewards concerts, advanced suite upgrades for up to three nights, access to exclusive tier appreciation events, and 4 p.m. late check-out (based on availability).
Additional Highlights of the Reimagined Program
To inaugurate MGM Rewards' launch, Tier Credits earned by members from January 1st - January 31st will count toward Tier Status earning for 2022 and 2023.
While Tier Credits required to achieve each Tier Status remain the same for all tiers, members will now only require 20,000 Tier Credits to achieve Pearl status, as opposed to the previous requirement of 25,000.
As part of the welcome package to MGM Rewards, all members can take advantage of a 2x multiplier on Tier Credits earned at Las Vegas MGM Resorts destinations from February 1st – April 30th, 2022, at the applicable earning rates.
The MGM Rewards program is the company's reimagined initiative to create a loyalty program that delivers impeccable quality and elevates each guest or customer's interaction with the properties. The revised program grants customers access to over 400 world-class food and beverage outlets, nightlife, and best-in-class entertainment at venues owned by the company. This includes the T-Mobile Arena and Dolby Live in Las Vegas, premier gaming floors, and much more.
